Empire State Painting Contractors
was established in 1994 and is owned and operated by John Maddaloni of Albany, New York. John is a graduate of Siena College and has lived and worked in the Albany area for over 20 years. After a few years of working for other painting contractors, John decided to start his own painting company.

Owner Operated and Managed
All of our projects are managed and supervised by the owner. John is a hands-on owner, usually working alongside his crew of professional painters.John prefers this approach because it allows him to build personal relationships with customers and be available to address questions and concerns of both the customer and the crew. Issues such as change orders, payments, or color changes are dealt with immediately, so there is little or no delay to the project.
Our Staff
Our crew is very important to us. We insist that all of our employees are courteous, neat, personable, and professional. We only hire experienced painters! Past employment history is always checked when considering hiring a new member of our staff. Our employees are treated as part of the team. This results in a great relationship, where both employer and employee are dedicated to our success. Some of our painters have been with us for more than 10 years.
